It’s been another exciting 24 hours in the Vendeeglobe 2024 around the world foiling/sailing race! And it looks there just might be a window for an Epic Duel to unfold. After sailing/surviving in confused seas with massive winds for days and days, finally the weather is stabilizing for perhaps a day or two, and now Yoann Richome finds himself hot on the heels of Sebastien Simon, who is sailing minus one foil! With Yoann’s demonstrated ability to seize on every opportunity, it looks like the next two days might just present a perfect avenue to go on the offensive and put his Arkea Paprec in the Second place! But Sebastien is no push-over. His bird maybe a little wounded, but he’s definitely not going to give up his well earned second place easily!! Make sure to bring coffee!
