Another 24 hours of racing in the Vendee Globe 2020 brought some surprises in the weather, splitting the fleet (both in VR and in real life) closing a big window for the leading group, but opening other doors at the same time. Jean le Cam proves once more that his skill at navigation is unmatched by recapturing the lead this morning. A stunning feat! Meanwhile it seems the previous string wind conditions have wrecked some havoc on the fleet, with many of the skippers reporting damages both small and large, and with one of the favourites Charal forced to return to Le Sable in order to attampts repairs. While the fleet regains her stride, Storm Tetha is appearing on the horizon and the skippers must al brace themselves and decide how close they want to get, in order to get an advantage.
